Net 2 Call, Trinity College company?

Heard something very briefly on RTE Radio 1 last Monday about a VoIP company called Net 2 Call or something. Anyone knows anything about this?

Thanks for this.. I can't believe the design of that metakall.com web site though.. so Web 1.0.. Honestly, it is really ugly.. Different background colour on different pages.. And it is coming from Trinity computer science department. I suggest they read a primer in web design. They even forgot the stylesheet for the RSS feed.. Oops.

That doesn't seem to be anything that innovative. There are loads of hotspot aggregators out there that do something similar e.g. http://www.boingo.com/ or http://www.devicescape.com. This will automatically log you onto a hotspot when you are in it's range and then you can browse \ make calls.

Unless it's integrated into the VoIP client so that you only logon when you are making the call it won't really do anything that the above 2 don't do.

But it's free all over Trinity Campus for all of August. That's at least one thing that's different about it.

Don't see what they're really bringing to the party either to be honest. Still they managed to get €400,000 of taxpayers money out of Enterprise Ireland so fair dues for that
