    Hi Folks.
We are going to the UK at the weekend and will be buying a PS3 while there, probably in Argos or currys/dixons. If something went wrong with it can it be returned to the Irish branch of these shops for repair? Thanks for any advice.

Most likely, you will have to bring it back to the store where you bought it.

No harm in phoning them and asking them though.

For Argos, yes. I've done this before. For Currys and such, I don't know, never tried.

Check their returns policy. If its a chain outlet you should be able to return it to any store. They just may not like it is all. If the conditions of the sale are that they need them returned to the specific store then they need to make you aware of this at the point of sale, via the receipt, or a sign in the store or something similar
