    Hi all,

In my WC under the stairs , the cold tap only has a trinkle coming from it and the cistern also and it is very slow to fill after been flushed. The other taps and toilets that feed from the coldwater tank in the house are all fine.

Anybody any ideas what it may be if something simple before I call my plumber?

    Thanks

Is there a separate valve that could have gotten partially turned off. Otherwise, clearly there's a blockage or an airlock in the plumbing assuming that it hasn't always been like this.

Try the clearing the airlock first.

If you could connect a pipe from the mains at the sink to this tap and feed water (under pressure) back into the line. Tap must be open of course.
