Now your either a thankswhore, wanting more people to thank you or you are a postcountwhore, cuz you want the +1 post brought back to increase your post count.     The thanks button is also a last resort way of acknowledging a reply or point in a locked thread (which FB is not short of lately).

    Recieving and giving thanks is also a welcoming and friendly gesture, and doesn't need analyzing.

    It's the inconsistancy that gets me... you put up what you tihkn is a reaLLt useful post, and no one presses thanks... even thought the say thanks in a fresh post... then you post up a piece of rubbish without thinking and three or four people jump on the thanks button....!!

    Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.
