Can you play the guitar?

Seems like everyone and their mother can play the guitar. I tried once.. but quickly gave up.

not that many people play guitar.....

Loads of people attempt to learn guitar but quit once they hit a C chord...

Play both bass and guitar.

The former was harder to learn btw.

I've played for about 14 years. Never approached it very studiously, so still playing alot of pentatonic improvisations. Still, after 14 years of them, I can make it sound pretty good:D Played bass occasionally and a I play the drums (poorly) too.

I like to think I can. Every few weeks I listen Comfortably Numb, decide Im going to finally nail the solo, then falter trying to learn the chords

I can play some songs, but mostly I learn half songs. I can play guitar hero really well, to sum up!

am going to buy a mandolin soon to learn that. And want to learn to play violin too, but i think that's out of my current grasp, i've never played anything that doesn't have frets.
