Canoeing in Ballina/Killala Co Mayo

Hi there I will be moving to Mayo in a few months and am keen to take up canoeing (after a 10 gap). Are there any local clubs/courses/equipment hire etc Cheers and thanks in advance for replies M10:D

There used to be a very active kayak club in Ballina in the 80's and 90's but AFAIK it is no longer active. Your best bet is to contact the Castlebar Club who I understand are quite active. They may even have a few Ballina based paddlers:
