    It's a Monday at the end of July which means there are only 25 of us in the office rather than the usual 150 so I get time to make threads that could really only be made by someone with too much time on their hands.


    I've noticed a lot of overlap between these 2 forums concerning road networks.


    From Infrastructure:

    The M/N8 Upgrade: a thread to chart its progress
    M6 To Athlone
    New M1 raod signs - complete waste of money



    From Commuting & Transport:


    N8 - Cashel - Mitchelstown
    M3 railway bridge at Cannistown seems to be missing
    M8 - Mitchelstown to Fermoy
    Newlands (N7/R113) to start soon?



    Is there a sense in keeping these forums separate ?

    Victor has a rant posted somewhere with a bunch of reasons for them being seperate.

    Some rationalisation may be in order.

    Infrastructure is about the planning and physical manifestation of projects while Commuting/Transport is complaining about the failure of same once completed.
