    Hello ,just wondering does anyone know what the 6110 would be like ,if it was used with a bicycle as a GPS.

    Bit ackward .. doesn't even have GPS ......

    But really the phone isn't even waterproof ?? Do you have a case or something planned for it ?

    Thanks for the reply ,I don't have anything planned for it. My dad got one and it is very handy to use ,so I thought it would be handy on the bike.

    I've got an edge 205 which I've not used a lot ,so maybe I'll stick with it. Gadgets are something I always love ,but I won't bother if the phone will get damaged.

    Thought maybe someone might pop in on a reply with a way of using it.
    Anyways I can't stand nokia's ,promised myself I wouldn't buy one again:mad::rolleyes::D

    Cheers

    I presume its the 6110 Navigator here: http://www.nokia.ie/link?cid=PLAIN_TEXT_311283 (which has GPS) you are asking about rather than the old 6110 in the reply above?

    My experience is that the GPS capabilities in this handset are reasonably good (especially if you configure it to use Assisted GPS) though the phone itself is a bit big.

    I've used it walking and driving, both to just track progress and also to map current location and get turn-by-turn directions with the in-built software and it worked well overall, I think.

    It should work similarly well on a bike, although you probably would need some kind of case and holding stand to put it on if you want to watch GPS data as you travel.

    Hope that helps
