    Time for a quick hijack..

I have an nvidia 6510 GE graphics card in my PC, with only one input...Can this card handle two monitors?

input or output? If you have one output then yeah only one monitor. i think. 2 outputs means 2 monitors.

EDIT: After some googling it seems that the 6510 is an intergrated GGPU/MOBO with only 1 output. I presume you have a laptop? You will not be able to use 2 monmitors with this card.

I'd be very wary about ordering from that lot. A lot of people on here have had big problems with them. Do a search for them on the Laptop and Consumer Issues forum before making any decision.

I got a laptop from laptops direct and it was broken out of the box, wouldnt even start up.
Took 3 weeks to get it picked up and new one delivered, i was not impressed, id never buy a computer outside of Ireland again, bag of hassle if something goes wrong.

I had problems with Curry's when I went up 2 weeks ago so I bought 2 of these for €400. Ordered on the Thurs and they arrived the following Monday in perfect condition to be fair.

Have a Dell Latitude D430, very small screen (about 12 inches maybe diagonally)

It'd very small for multi-tabling - four small iPoker barely fit on the screen.

What would anyone recommend to buy a new monitor to connect to this laptop for better viewing ? Can you even do this ?

Very computer illiterate so help me out on this one . . . thanks

To be honest, I thjink you have the market cornered. Include that chapter on folding KK preflop and its guaranteed a pulitzer imo.

How do you work it - just plug it in to the back of your laptop ?

    Budget - I suppose around 300 or so . . .

300 is too much. Dabs.ie/komplett and laptopsdirect.ie all sell models. 19" should be more than enough. Dabs do a 24" for €200, tbh I would prob look at upgrading to a PC at the same time tho. Yea it plugs into your VGA port/ the 15 point socket on the back of the laptop

How old is your laptop. I have a Dell latitude 810 from work that is being upgraded in a few weeks and its slow as hell. Trying to run a tracker plus other apps would slow it way down I would have thought.

I bought it in October - it's pretty fast tho - PT causing no problem so far

Why is resolution so important and not screen size ?

Lads currently have dell xps m1710 laptop, I am thinking of getting the dell E248WFP 24-inch monitor to go wit it.

Is it just a matter of plugging it ina nd it will work with my laptop?

It cost 380e whereas all the other dell 24 inch monitors are way dearer but as i will only be using it for poker i think it will do me

Anyone got one of these ? how fo they find it?.

Tbh, I dont know much about these things, but when I was getting my monitor a mate told me there is a massive difference b/t teh 248 and the 2408 dell monitors.

By the way, you can get it much cheaper than buying direct from Dell. I got mine from pcbuyit; have a look at komplett too.
