Bushings or baring bushings?

    Normal bushings are just a piece for the gears to sit into.

    Bearing bushings have two seperate rings with metal bearings between them and some form of lubricant which allows the rings to spin seperately, the gears sit into the middle of this.

    Normal bushings are stronger and less prone to breaking, but bearing bushings will spin easier and should give a slightly better rate of fire.

    If it's a 6mm gearbox, get solid bushings, as 6mm bearings are pretty weak. If it's a 7mm or 8mm gearbox, then use bearing bushings.

    Why? Ive heard bushings are stronger.

    Bearings are quieter and faster than solid bushings. 7mm and 8mm can take far far far beyond airsoft stresses, they're fine.

    But 6mm bearings are weak, and they will break as they aren't as strong.
