    Jeez is it that hard, we already have one Ronaldo, PSV, Barca, Inter, Real Madrid and AC, so can we not call Cristiano Ronaldo exactly that instead of ROnaldo, the new Ronaldo, Man Utd;s Ronaldo etc., it would be far easier if people just called him Cristiano Ronaldo?:D

    we dont call ronaldo 'Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima' or ronaldinho 'Ronaldo de Assís Moreira' so why would we for cristiano ronaldo?

    I'd always get confused when people talk about Henry, are they talking about the Barcelona striker, Thierry Henry, or Henry Hall who played for St. Johnstone in the 1970's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Hall_(footballer) :confused:

    But why open it in the first place?! Your asking everyone here to refer to him as Cristano Ronaldo to avoid confusion. The majority of talk about 'Ronaldo' at the moment is contained in the Man United Superthread which is a give away to wgich Ronaldo it is.

    This thread may have been a good idea 2 or 3 years ago when the Brazilian Ronaldo was playing half decent and was not injured, your a bit late doing it now since his career is winding down!
