    Is it better to go with an Irish broker or try to open an account elsewhere? What brokers would you recommend?

    Barclays global investors are the best crowd for these. they list quite a few themselves on the exchanges. Not sure if you can use them if based in Ireland.

    BGI are the investnment manager, you can buy them through any broker

    My recommendation would be Keytrade. No annual account maintenance so your investment won't be eaten away each year
