Ebuyer - Navigo GPS - £50+delivery, is it a bargain?

    Hi

    Found that ebuyer is doing deals on NAVIGo GPS - £50
    (comes with SD card with UK map only)
    we can get a 1gb memory card for £3.5 (for other maps)
    deliver is expensive i guess - £13
    so in total - £67 - approx 85 euros
    plus you can load Tomtom maps onto the extra memory card you bought

    tried to order off them before but they wouldnt take irish credit cards
    anything new with them?

    just wondering whats the max sd card this can take?

    If you are having a problem with an irish credit card, try paying with the google checkout option.

    Could you put garmin maps on this?

    I like the video review of this device ;)

    Anybody know how much the delivery is to Ireland

    General delivery to "eire" according to the ebuyer site is 12.99GBP

    Where does it say it has Eire maps? i cant find it. seems like only the UK maps. :confused:

    where can you get eire maps?
    is it a case that if you mod this with tomtom or whatever,then you can put tomtom maps on instead?

    Hi All,
    Slightly off topic but this might be of interest to the OP.

    I recently bought a Garmin Nuvi 250 (Ireland, UK and Europe Maps) from Currys in Blanchardstown for 135 euro's. Price on system was 149.97 and sales guy said that once the .97cent is displayed they are usually trying to clear the product. I explained that I could could buy same product elsewhere for 150 so they gave me an extra 10% discount just to make the sale. The Garmin also takes SD micro card.
    Might be worth a chance if you want a decent cheap GPS system.
    (PC world and Dixons are also part of this group so you could try them if Currys are out of stock)

    i saw on the ebuyer forum that you can get the tomtom maps installed on a SD card and use it on this GPS

    sorry by default it does not include eire maps - updated
