WhenIhadfinished,Iwentintoeachandeveryroomandstuffedhalf-eatenshrimpshellsdippedincaviar,
intothehollowoftheallofthecurtainrods.

Ithencleanedupthekitchenandleft.

Whentheex-wifereturnedwithhernewboyfriend,allwasblissforthefirstfewdays.

Thenslowly,thehousebegantosmell.

Peoplestoppedcomingovertovisit.

Repairmenrefusedtoworkinthehouse.

Themaidquit.

Finally,theycouldnottakethestenchanylongeranddecidedtomove.

Amonthlater,eventhoughtheyhadcuttheirpriceinhalf,theycouldnotfindabuyerfortheirstinkyhouse.

Wordgotout,andeventually,eventhelocalrealtorsrefusedtoreturntheircalls.

Finally,theyhadtoborrowahugesumofmoneyfromthebanktopurchaseanewplace.
