I sincerely doubt that! I think, Spain will beat Italy as the loss of Gatusso and Pirlo is simply too much, Spain just have to find a way to break down the Italian defence! I do however think that Holland will be able to expose the Spaniards frailties!

The two teams I wanted to do well in the competiton facing each other in the semis. Spain have to be favourites but I think Russia wioll cause them some problems. possibility that Torres will be dropped which is pretty ridiculous tbh. That guy Guiza who replaced him against Italy was rubbish even if he was top scorer in the league.

Spain should win it. Beating Italy was huge. I think they qualified for the last 7 or 8 major tournaments without getting past the QF's. The pressure on them because of that was huge. Then there was the 22nd June jinx where they had been knocked out on penos the last 3 times they've played on that date. If they don't win this tournament I doubt it'll be because they bottled it. They can't feel much/any more pressure than they did on Sunday. TBH Mr Alan I'm even rooting for Spain, even though Russia could earn me a few quid.
I went to the Spain game on Sunday, costing me a clean fortune. Apparently it was a sh!t game when watching on TV but actually being there it felt like a cracking game. Have to say though, I fear for Spains chances with that tool Arragones in charge. He's got a grudge against El Nino and he's got to fit Fabregas into the team.
