What makes me laugh is the slogan they have going now 'We now use 100% real chicken in our nuggets' - WTF were they using before:rolleyes:
An awful lot of chicken goujons + nuggets use fish paste...

They tasted better before too which is always the way when food goes the 'healthy' route.

I've become quite partial to a chicken legend with bacon and salsa sauce.

ha, I just mean when i was a kid, I remember them always being really clean and having good service, and that just doesn't seem like the case anymore,

Dunno if it's gone downhill or my expectations of what food should taste like have actually started to climb!

Like: Bacon & Egg McMuffins, Turnip Pies (yes, a friend recently ruined the sugary deep fried confection on me by telling me the truth - but still like them :)), Chicken Nuggets (when hot), Quarter Pounders (in some restaurants), syrupy Coke, €2 Double Cheeseburgers (though liking these less and less recently).

Despise: Sausage & Egg McMuffins, Fillet o'Fish, their "Angus" Whopper rip-offs, Burgers that look like they've been sat on after assembly, sharing tables at 3 in the morning with smelly drunks, bolted down seating, garish lighting (at 3 in the morning)...

... Also can't stand that feeling that you get 20 mins after finishing a McD's meal. You don't know if you're still hungry or just want to throw-up

You should try McCholesterol or McHeart Attack. Or even McDeath. Very addictive, mind you.

Made it to McDonalds at 7.30am yesterday and they were'nt bleedin open. Opened at 8pm and had two sausage mc muffins and two hash browns and a large coke, ah , it was heaven. Then home for a big mug of hot tea. Won't eat there again for a few months but jaysis it satisfied my cravings. And by way, normal chippers can be dodgy as many don't change their cooking oil regularly leaving detritis and debris in the cooking vat along with trans fats and carcinogenic compounds etc.:D

    LOL! :pac:

McDonalds chips aren't nice - all soggy and cardboardy. The burgers are ok but burger King are better.

And of course the drinks there are all 1 part mineral to 5 parts water. When you the Coke coming out it's clear with little bits of black interspersed.

Haven't eaten McDonalds or any other fastfood chain food for over a year. Decided after watching Supersize Me and reading Fast Food Nation that the food really is muck!

I'm quite proud of this as I used to eat McDonald's alot and it's quite hard when travelling in a foreign country and you're hungry not going into one of these places as you know what the foods like, it's cheap and easy. I did it though.

Now have to try the same thing with biscuits and chocolate, not going too well.

when you buy coke (and other fizzy drinks) for a fountain they come concentrated as far as i know and you need to have another cannister of fizzy water the fountain mixes them and wolla a large coke

They tend to grind up the chicken bones and add them in too.

I hope you all understand what trans fats are.

    Yep.
    Don't care though.

    Anyone seen Morgan Spurlock recently?
I'd like to kick him square in the nuts for that film.
It's his fault that they got rid of the supersize option.
Now I have to buy two cokes and two chips.
    Bastard.

He's probably dead, from either the effects of making that film or some very angry obese people!

His last film was in search of Osama.............and yep he's still alive the McD's overdose didn't kill him and it looks like he survived the afghans & the taliban too!!

Do they have the MegaMac back home in Ireland?

The feeling after eating an egg megamac is worse than death.

Eh how do you know? you might experience death after one of those
