LC forum being discussed on Joe Duffy. Has it increased the popularity of boards?

Someone in a Sunday newspaper a few weeks ago* "wrote" and article about the first few LC exams. The whole thing was quoting and paraphrasing boards.ie, at least the writer admitted it though.

Right with all the talk on the Radio today(Joe Duffy) and in the press in recent weeks about Boards and the LC! Do you think that it has increased peoples knowledge of Boards?! There was a bit of a serge on the site while the piece was on earlier.

Now I don't want this thread turning into all the others in the LC forum,basically personnal attacks on the guy who must not be named,lol! And Mod's I don't see a reason for this to be moved or locked unless it does turn out like the other threads in fairness!

So has it helped Boards?!

Boards has also gotten some press because of the airsoft forum too, I think at this stage it's an Irish institution.

One of them nice state institutions that don't put you in a straight jacket and padded room.

I worked in an office for the past year, goo 'aul JD on the radio, everyday.

I would change the station asap, but sometimes to my loss would let it run, and hear that man, man of the people eh.

Lives on the south side now doesn't he, but the accent is good and thick still, like he puts it on like a hat before the show.
There was a spike in the airsoft forum during our radio time, and on one of the retailers sites, they got bored of how sensible our representatives were, and how they wouldn't be badgered, so we're old news now, sigh

So yes, JD is a pain, but you will get more traffic, if only until the next fad that tugs at the heart strings of the listeners.
