Im not a big computer nut so please dont slag. My laptop has a virus. How do i get rid of it? I dont have norton or any of those antivirus programs. The laptop is gone really slow since it got the virus. Its a fairly old laptop around 5-6 years old but it was workin fine till it got the virus. Is there any way of…

First go here and follow the prompts: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Install and run a full system scan (just follow the prompts). Allow regular updates - and never be without an Anti Virus application again. :eek:

Next click on Windows Update on the Start Menu (or Start>[All]Programs) and follow the prompts to get the latest updates and patches for your system.

You also need to install a Firewall and a couple of Malware prevention applications. One thing at a time though.
