McAfree Anti-Virus sucks!!

So when I bought my laptop last September it came with a month or 2 of McAfree internet security. Anyway it expired ages ago but I never renewed my subscription or uninstalled it.

Anyway today i just got sick of the pop up "please renew your subscription" so I finally uninstalled it.

WOW!

It's like I got a new computer. Everything runs like a dream. When i click on control panel everything pops up straight away. It's incredible.
iTunes pops up in a matter of seconds - every program starts infinitely quicker!

What the f uck was this crap doing to my computer?

Nearly a year I was putting up with this s hit.

I became suspicous when my sister recently purchased an Acer laptop with far worse specs and it ran a lot better than mine.
Now I know why - f ucking McAfree.

Just a word of advice to anyone who purchased a Dell laptop and got McAfree with it - it may seriously slow your system.

I hope you used the McAfee removal tool to remove it

So I take it this is a common occurrence this issue with McAfree?

Common occurance with all shíte bloated software that should be avoided like the plague.

remember to turn the windows firewall back on, bet bloody mcrappy turned it off, and didn't bother its hole turning it back on, they should be shot

did you install any antivirus?
