Jeebus! Now I'm not one to believe in any hocus pocus and I didnt even realise it was Friday the 13th until I saw this thread but so far today I've had an argument with my bf (we havent had a cross word in weeeeeeks), put sour milk in my cuppa, made another one and put in *too much* milk and spilled an entire bag of salt and vinegar Tayto all over the sofa!!!

Just another day to me, and it's been a good one so far. Maybe I'll push my luck a bit and walk under a few ladders and spill salt and encounter lone magpies. Just for the excitment.

Friday the 13th is no worse than Wednesday the 16th, or Monday the 27th or any other day and date you choose. Think of all the bad things that have happened in your life and in the world. Very few, if any of them, happened on a Friday the 13th. Go back to 2001 and a certain Tuesday the 11th, didn't happen on Friday the 13th, did it?

Looking at this year and taking two big stories, neither the Burmese floods or the Chinese earthquake happened on Friday the 13th. This is the first Friday the 13th of the year, but a lot of bad things have happened already this year. There won't be another Friday the 13th this year, but you can be certain that a lot of bad things remain to happen. Today is just another day, no different than any others in the scheme of things.

Bad luck: I have a really bad tooth ache... Went to the dentist and he told me there's nothing wrong and to leave it for a while to see if it gets better.
