I'm sure somebody here has done this. I'm getting the 16:00 Sunday ferry from Rosslare to Cherbourg in France and I'm taking my bike. I live in Dublin and do not want to cycle to Rosslare. I was wondering what is the best way to get there by public transport?

I expect that CIE won't let me take the bike on the train so would Bus Eireann be my best bet? I think they have a bus going at 10am on sunday.

Bikes may be carried on railcars in certain circumstances; I would urge you to ring Irish Rail to see if this will be allowable. Rosslare Europort's number is 053-33592; Connolly is (01) 703 2358

In regards to Bus Eireann, this should be good news for you
