To purchase something? Didn't think this worked.

You'll have no problems with withdrawls

You will have no problems using your card at ATM's. I think if you use Bank Societe General ATM's you wont get charged.

I don't think Laser will work, but maybe since its euro zone, I have CC, so have never tried with laser (Buy now, pay later... and keep paying unless you clear it :) )

I don't think there are any charges for using ATMs in eurozone... I've never noticed any on my statement. Outside eurozone, it's usually a flat fee of the order of about 1.50.

Maestro (your debit card) will work in 99%. There should be no extra charge for withdrawals.

Hotels and stores generally don't accept Laser/Maestro so you won't be able to use your card to pay in these places. Really depends on from hotel to hotel though. Some hotels will accept Maestro.

    Laser is an Ireland-only card.

In France we use Visa/Mastercard Debit cards so Maestro has never really caught on.

I'd call your bank to get a list of ATMs where you won't get charged for withdrawals rather than relying on us :)

    AIB Debit Card*

The AIB Debit card is a combined payment card which gives you access to ATM and Point of Sale functionality. The AIB Debit Card can be used for purchases wherever you see the Maestro symbol abroad and you can also use your card for withdrawals from ATMs (up to a daily limit of €600**) where the Link/Maestro symbol is displayed.

**Amounts may vary from country to country
