Simple question. What's your favourite pub/club in Ireland/Dublin. In Dublin, my favourite place would be porterhouse (Grafton st) or else D2. In Ireland, it is definitely Taffes bar in Galway. Fantastic place. Where's your favourite place to get spasticated with beer and accidentally climb into bed with the neighbour's hot 18-21 year old daughter after you had to sneak in the window cos your key wasn't working. Accidentally.

The flying bottle in Knocknaheeney. It's great for a bit of "Crack" (Your skull) and it's a great way to kill (people) time.

Dublin : McDaids (My mouth waters thinking of the lovely guinness....makes me miss Ireland so much)
Outside Dublin: Beerhaus in Galway, always a nice crowd, no tossers and lots of nice beers.

I used to go to Sally Longs in Galway when I was in collage there. All pubs look the same to me these days.

I feel and I may be alone in feeling this but I feel that this thread is just going to be of users naming their local boozer, because we all know your own local is the greatest bar in the wooooooooooooooooorld!

An Pucan in Galway is a good spot, In dublin, it'd have to be The Porterhouse or Doyles. The Wacky Apple in Waterford is also a good spot.

In Galway, there's a quaint little place called The Cellar. Best Sex on the Beach EVER! Pitchers for €19.
"How many glasses do you need?"
    "Glasses? Pffffft."

Well according to my site www.ratemypub.ie it's Rosato's in Donegal, not too gone on most of the pubs in Dublin myself but then again it's horses for courses.

Messrs Maguire in Dublin....don't even know why really, just like it there. Sick of poser type pubs. Costigans in Cork city. Though not impressed since they extended it, full of "outsiders" now. Boo hiss. And The Roost in Maynooth will probably always be my favourite pub from my college days, oh how I miss it :(

for my two cents, ya costigans in Cork, galloping green is probably the best i've come across in dublin!

The Roisin Dubh in Galway was my favourite pub for years. Best place in the world to have a quiet pint in the afternoon or to have a rake of pints later on and watch a band.

Unfortunately it's lost its charm since the refurbishment. I'm sure they make way more money now though so there you go.

Also Taylor's right next door to the Roisin Dubh was a great place. Changed owners a few years back and seems now to be populated mostly by naked ladies who want money to sit on your lap for a while.

I always like the Living Room in Galway, just a pity it's always so damn wedged on a weekend...

Taaffes is also good for a bit of a knees up, if really small........

In Dublin...I like Porterhouse, Grand Central, Citibar (crap on a Saturday night though as ya gotta pay 10 at the door - even if you're not going to the club which is downstairs)
