    Hi,

I'm not sure if you guys are aloud to answer this but I was wondering if like the free view boxes that you can reprogram to get all NTL channels, can you do the same with a hauppauge tv tuner card?

    Cheers

This is frowned upon on these boards.

    Just to clarify some things:

Freeview boxes are for digital terrestrial TV (DTT). We don't have this in Ireland. Freeview is the name given to the DTT scheme in the UK. It uses DVB-T.

UPC NTL's cable offering uses DVB-C and is incompatible. You can't use any DVB-C tuner cards with cable in this country.
