best car hire deals in germany ?

Hi, I'am traveling to Germany soon on holidays for 2 weeks and looking at hiring out a car for the duration. I have done the usual companies , avis , Hertz, Europcar, Budget and I was wondering is there any others I could try for a good deal. Also as this is my first time driving in Germany is there any advise those of you…

Hi,

Also as this is my first time driving in Germany is there any advise those of you that have driven there can give me regarding national requirements , town driving , giving way etc etc it would be much appreciated.

Try www.sixt.com - can have very good deals on BMW and MB from time to time if you are lucky. They are a German company and a few times that I have hired their I have gotten a 5 series for less than a Vectra from Hertz. Worth a look, just watch for any hidden charges.
