Indeed you would. If that happens at home its a heatwave! Jumper on for me today though. Might take a wonder down to the shops in a while. The world is your oyster on a weekday off!

    Tis a great feeling alright.

At the moment I am doing sweet FA, and I don't even appreciate it. Last summer though, I was working all sorts of mad hours in NYC, and when I had a day off, I felt like the day was a blank canvas, waiting to be painted. I would squeeze all amounts of things into one of those days. Whereas in my present mindset, I am lucky to see the downstairs of my house!

Been on holidays since last Friday in cracking sunshine in Waterford, back in work Sunday and Monday, then off to France for five days for more good weather hopefully.

    I love Summer!
22 Degrees. If we reached that over here, you'd see all the pasty aul fellas with their sandals (+ the obligatory socks) and shorts on, parading up and down Dollymount.

It was 11 degrees earlier and I was out in shorts and a t-shirt. Its all about your mindset (plus that I didn't pack any jumpers).

Ha nasty! We have it tough over here too ya know. Just approaching the end of the first week or winter and it's a very chilly 22 degrees outside. Hat and scarf all the way![/QUOTE]

In that shop in Australia 'Cotton On' i bought a couple of ****ty t'shirts cause i had been travelling light. The girl serving me asked if I would like to avail of their special winter deal on scarves, just an extra 5 bucks. It was 20 degrees outside and it was only May!!

Not much going down but a heavy sport schedule. Up to watch the rugby in the morning then the start of the Euros in the evening. Down to Croker on sunday to watch Louth stuff the Jackeens (i know i'm dreaming, but whatever...) then some more Euro 08 and before you know it, we'll be kicking off a new week of work with a hangover on Monday morning..

Took the day off work today so an extended weekend for me. Few bevvies tonight down the local. Tomorrow will involve watching the early AFL game on tv before heading to Subiaco Oval to watch the Eagles take on the Swans. Few beers after then home to stay up all night watching the Euro games. Might get about 4 hours sleep before I go play my own game Sunday afternoon. Good times!
