    This set looks perfect. Seems to be a respected name and the price is good for what you get.

    they will do you fine, other options are to check out a similar set in the golf shops, or online.

    I started out with a similar full set of wilsons from mcguirks and they were fine for 2 years or so.

    American golf in tallaght have a few decent sets ranging from 200 upwards.

    American Golf is a little out of the way. I will pop in to Mcguirks in Blanch and take a look. Maybe they will have the same set so i can try them out. If they are the same price i might get them there. Otherwise i will get them in Argos. Even if i do not become a regular golfer, i can make use of them when i have nothing better to do and my Father in law can use them when he comes over from the US as they would probably be in better condition than rentals.

    I did manage to hit the ball when i went, not always of course. I got a couple of nice shots but most went arseways and i lost a few balls.
    I went to CastleBarna in Offaly, very nice people there although i held up some Sunday morning golfers so i skipped a couple of holes and when they caught up we let them go in front.
    I will have to get some lessons, there is a pro in Mullingar Golf club so i can go there.

    They are always nice in Castle Barna, :D glad you decided to take up golf. John Burns(Mullingar) is a nice lad, worth the effort of going to.
