Anyone aware that the latest Vista update buggers up USB broadband, at least here with O2 in Ireland? If so, anyone got any ideas as to how to sort it? O2 said system restore, but that doesn't do a thing.
    Any info appreciated.
    Thx

Was it Ultimate that you upgraded to?

I upgraded a few weeks ago and it messed up loads of apps (although was worth it when I got it sorted) including Broadband

A few of the support sites suggested clearing the Windows registery and that did the trick for me

Still don't see how the windows registery would impact the broadband but whatever the reason the cleardown sorted it!

Worth a go ... hope it helps! :D

You'll need to be more specific than that. Is the modem being recognised?

Was in the O2 shop today and seemingly if you swap the modem for the stick modem as opposed to the pepple shapped on it will be fine, the issue is with the pepple shapped one, gonna try it tomorrow
