Its a bit of a long shot, but the program has been having problems with vista? If not the case i would reinstall the drivers

ok, sent to install the accerometer sis file but said I already had it yet the display menu gives me no option to turn it on

Takes about 5 mins, have you got a screen? Amazon.co.uk do them but their prob is cheaper. You need a T5 screwdriver which ebay has for next to nothing, sometimes you get them free buying items. Will need the opening tool or something similar see ebay link here for items you will need

I installed the accelerometer plugin ok.

I tried to install the rotateme file but keep getting this error:

Certification Error, Contact the application supplier

when I try sign the program I get this error

FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is not allocated to the account holder matching this email address (0x2000e270 )

What am I doing wrong?

change the tick box settings at the bottom of the page before submitting to be signed. has to be signed before it can be installed. You will receive an email link with the signed program within a few minutes usually. hope this helps.

The 'Rotate me' file. you have to up load it to have the program signed so it works on your phone.

I just got a N95 and getting into it and the new applicatons. I am not a techie but am trying to learn- a few quick questions sorry if a bit basic.

I was using my Wifi last night on my wireless network at home I presume I don't get charged?
Downloaded Opera very good by the way. Nearly all the applications/games I downloaded need to be connected to the net- is that normally the case- is there any good ones that work without having to connect up?
Where is a good site for downloading TV programmes for free would like to download an episode of family guy.

Yes can be with free programs they connect to update advertisments. Some you can get away without connect, use skip and it avoids it.[/QUOTE]

I bought my phone second hand, it had a lot of apps on it and I'm really missing one now. Its one that sets up my profiles correctly. ie at 9am it goes into silent mode, with a nice office theme. Then at 6 it goes into general profile and also changes the theme.

It was a great app, anyone know what it is or where I can find it?

I like rotate me, but doesn't it eat the battery?

[edit] Oh and another app flip silent I think, used to hang up the phone when I closed the slider... is that about anywhere? [/edit]

Flip silent put the phone on silent when you turn it over eg in a meeting.

Is there a way to put repeat reminders in your calendar? can put a reminder but cannot work out how to set it to come out weekly like I could on my other Nokias.

Create 'meeting' then you can select daily weekly monthly etc under 'alarm'

Yes. If you are on 3, you can get it from planet 3, otherwise there is a few different options
