MORE FPS games, i.e. Quake, Doom, anyhting along those lines. The system is crying out for them. Look how well Metorid controls work.

the Controls are greart but with PS3 and Xbox 360 producing high def super realistic visuals for FPSs anything on the Wii is going to look weak in comparision. This is one are in which theWii cant compete.

I wish it was a dvd player too :(

Why isn't it? Its highly frustrating. presumably its using DVD technology anyway?

It's technically capable of it, but in order to be compatible with the DVD standard, they would have to pay royalties to the DVD (or MPEG, can't remember) working group, and that would jack up the price of each console. It's the same reason you had to buy a DVD kit (essentially, an overpriced remote control) for the original XBOX.

There were rumours of a similar DVD kit coming out for the Wii, but I haven't heard much recently.

Besides, I doubt it's all that frustrating. Most people have it next to an existing DVD player, or PS3, etc. And if not, what's a DVD player these days, €30?

Yes it is that Frustrating, I have limited Scart Inputs and A wii, a DVD player, a VHS and Satelite Telly. Having to switch leads anytime I want to watch a fricking Movie is very annoying.

Yeah playing halo while some american 12 year olds SCREAM obscenities at everyone was incredibly annoying. Even a product for friends use would be welcome though.

solved by running the mute player sub-routine
