I know there is already a Nick thread, but this deserves a thread of it's own.

We all know Nick is in the slammer, and that can be tough for a young man, hell even our own Vince felt sorry bad for the guy:
Phonecall that Nick made to his family from jail on the first day he gets there. I felt kinda bad listening to it but listening to Hulk talk soon made me snap out of it. Just surreal.

However, I hope Nick gets as much butt loving in Prison that a man can take.

Here is an audio clip of a phone call between Nick and Hulk. In the clip, you can here them ragging on John, Nick's supposed friend, who he has left in a wheelchair for life, claiming John 'brought' this upon himself. The conversation eerily jumps from that, to how much money Nick can make on a reality show as soon as he comes out of prison, with Nick saying that he'll go with (Network wise) whoever will pay him the most. He says he wants to make as much money as possible.

I have always loathed Hogan, and his family came across kinda trashy in that 'reality' show of theirs, but that is truly vile. I will never watch pay for a PPV again if Hogan (unlikely) is on it, or indirectly put a dime in his hand again.

Yeah that is trash alright. Goes to show the mindset of these celebs and their willingness to exploit anything. The little sympathy I had for the chap just evaporated.

Just when one thought my opinion of Hogan can't get any lower.
    I agree with Festus.

Gotta say guys I dont post in wrestling ata ll. I watched the life story of the hulkster yesterday on the Bio Chanel and I thought he was a decent guy, now listening to that I aint too impressed.
What has it come to for someone to try and make money from something bad in their life instead of being ashamed by what they done.

In fairness to the Hulkster, once again, he's doing everything he can for his kids to try and make them some money.

Also, keep in mind that with any divorce, bribing kids to like you better is a natural part of it and promising him instant money when he leaves and taking his side regardless of evidence is another way to do that.

    He's getting divorced?

How the hell was this recorded and released?surely Hogan can sue over this.To be honest,I dont really want to listen to it.I genuinely thought that their speeches in the courtroom were from the heart.Listening to this would make me sick

To be honest, things like this should be really private which is hypocritical of me to say because I gave a few links to it here. I couldn't help but listen (and share) though.

John was the elder in the situation so he should have known better and anyone who gets in a with a drunk driver knowingly (yes Im going to stay it) deserves pretty much what they get. John was no saint here.

Makes me glad I live in a country where prisons would not be allowed to record and release my phone-calls.

Its the prison I'm pissed off with, not the Hogans.

that bio channel program was totally pro-hogan, you notice that only his best friends e.g. ed leslie, mene gene, knobbs, jimmy hart etc were interviewed

Just because he was older doesn't mean he was any wiser. I mean Paris Hilton is older than me...

Anyway, it's disgusting that they intend to make money out of this. Makes you wonder if there's any point in his sentence, if he's going to benefit from it financially. Hell, I'd do 8 months if it meant a meaty pay-off in the end. And lets be honest his bad on drinking for 5 years is never going to be enforced.

But will the Networks want to associate themselves with him? I mean there's bad reality TV and then there's bad-taste.

It was probably the hypocracy of what was said in the courtroom and what was said on the phone that pissed off alot of people. That certainly pissed me off.
Although its private,I certainly think that people should know about the calls to see the defendants difference of opinion both inside and outside the courtroom. The reason why nick was locked up for only 8 months as opposed to 5 years(the maximum sentence) was because the judge did not want to see nick's childhood wasted. If what was discussed in these apparent phonecalls is what the hogan's want for nick, then I say lock him for 5 years and throw away the key

    Thats what i was thinking.

But at the same time, if it'll get viewers, then they'll do it.

Just listened to the phone call again.

Its insane. I mean.. just play it again.. There is no personal feeling at all. Hogan is just 100% business the whole way. He's worth a fortune, but he just wants to be in the spotlight all the time.

They're even planning the f'ing show! "I'll be a celebrity recovering" etc. i mean, i hate hogan as a person.. but in saying that.. is there a person Hulk Hogan? he just seems like a 24/7 business man.

Seriously though folks, who'd have thought Hogan would have been up there on Savage and Warrior levels of total insanity. Kurt Angle is a law abiding saint by comparison!

In eyes of the law it does sorry. Your man did even wear a seatbelt. If this was two joyriders in Dublin you wouldnt be bending over backwards for them.

    Really?

Anyway, will he serve the 8 months in total anyway? I mean, could this leak assist him in getting that sentence reduced?

He was the adult in the situation. Age is taken over "wiseness" in the law in cases you didnt know.

I think you've been watching too much Judge Judy.

John should have known better than getting into a car with a drunk driver, but there is no way you can try and use that to justify the fact that he will be in a vegetative state for the rest of his life. Very few people deserve that.

But that is all irrelevant. The point here is that Hogan is talking about the whole horrible siltation with $$$ in his eyes. Further, Nick tries to say that John brought this 'karma' upon himself with his negativity. What a cnut. Bad mouthing a person who can't move from below the neck is bad in itself. But to say that **** about a person who you have significantly contributed to being in such a condition is just sickening.

I would guess that prison phone calls are taped so as tp prevent criminals from operating from the inside. I would also imagine that someone leaked them after hearing such hypocrisy. I see nothing wrong in either of these instances.

I'm sure it will help the Grazianos out when they get their lawsuit against the Hogans going. I think Hulk's going to lose a lot of money

    Was thinking that myself.

How sweet would be if he was bleed dry, thereby forcing him to go to Vince with his tail between his legs, having to job to everybody and anybody (I know that wouldn't make sense from WWE's perspective, but still, one can dream).

    -He was a boyracer himself
-He was in a car designed not for day to day use
-He got into a car with a drunk driver
    -He didnt wear a seatbelt
-John and Nick were driving so fast fast they put many others at risk

Both deserve what they got and maybe people can learn from them not to be irresponsible dumb****s.

The method that these tapes were obtained seems a little less than legal so I'd be surprised if they were allowed to be admitted into court

ProWrestling.net has reported that the Sheriff's Office released the calls to the media and that it's a common procedure. Everyone on the calls is warned repeatedly that they're being recorded as well

He sounds like a sociopath if, as it appears, his primary thought is how much he can make out of this. It is a forlorn hope but it would be good if this comes back to haunt him in terms of future revenue.
