Strasbourg

    Hey all, Ive to fly to Strasbourg next week for a work thing and im having trouble finding a direct flight so i was wondering if anyone knew the best place to fly into near there. Would Paris be the nearest option or does anyone know of a place in Germany thats closer?

    stuttgart would be the closest, but i have no idea how easy it is to get from there, and if there's no direct flights to there, you're better off flying to paris and catching a TGV to strasbourg. it's only 2 and a quarter hours by train

    Basel/Mulhouse is an option
    Or Frankfurt Hahn isint a million miles away - hard to get out of though, need a car.

    The nearest airport is Karslruhe/Baden-Baden. Ryanair fly direct from Dublin. It's 60km by car to Strasbourg and there is a direct shuttle service to Strasbourg from Baden Airpark by Strasbourg Navette. If it's an expenses paid trip, you'd probably get a deal on a taxi fair. It's quite literally around 25-30 mins driving from Baden Airpark - I did it last week!
