Eurovision rubbish

Another year and another bout of boring bloc voting and arguments about bloc voting.

I just read this on the BBC

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/7408216.stm

Some try to argue that bloc voting is a result of cultural similarites. WRONG! Its just ex-pats voting for themselves. Heres what Ireland gave 12 points to in the last few years,

    2007 Lithuania
    2007 Lithuania
    2005 Lativa (no Lithuania)

Which is odd as the these entries didn't do very well for the years they got 12 from us. I wonder?

Hey PMan, lighten up its only a bit of fun. Bit sad getting upset over it, no?

Don't call me PMan and I will get upset over it as I'm a bitter little arsehole.

So thats no fun for anybody then.

I'm impressed that we were allowed to give 12 points to Lithuania twice in '07

Don't be stupid. Why would be able to give them 12 points twice. Think about it, its not possible.

What sarcasm? You were just being a bit stupid and didn't spot an obvious typo.

No, I was being a bit funny and knew well it was a typo, hence the joke.

You're just being a bit of a moan arse who didn't get the joke.

    boo hoo.

And we didn't give anyone any points in 2006! That's good work. Definately the way to go!

No, I was being a bit funny and knew well it was a typo, hence the joke.

But you weren't being funny. You were just doing the usual unfunny boards joke based around typos and sarcasm.

Get off my thread sonny unless you have something to add.

I did add something, a joke, you didn't get it and made a tit of yourself.

Keep your serious thread, then sonny, this is AH, next time post in the dry sh1te forum.

Read my first post, I'm a bitter little areshole. Which doesn't just mean that my arsehole tastes bitter (it does).
I did add something, a joke, you didn't get it and made a tit of yourself.

I got your joke. I replied in such a dry sarcastic way that nobody here got so its you that came off second best.

    /really obvious sarcasm

yeah right :big ass roll eyes:

    /end really obvious sarcasm

So I came out of this looking stupid then, pwned by the mighty OP in his super double sarcasm whiparound thread that no-one got and just looked to be desperate face saving and very thin on the ground reasoning?

    Ya, roish.

Haha your'e a keeper. Even when I point it out you still can't believe it.

    Which semifinal are Ireland in?

    Because its bs.

I can imagine it could be true, but very, very weak all the same.

Just even as a retort assuming it was what you say it was(highly questionable) it is a completely crap reply, hence most people wont even assume it was your intention to be sarcastic, meaning it misses the mark completely.

A bit like telling me you got me but I don't think you did, nor does anyone else, so really you got nobody except yourself.

Then having to explain it is a bit of a desperate stab at winning.

    No, doesn't work like that.

Dude, let it die. Try and salvage the thread by getting back on topic.

Bring back Rock and Roll kids! That'll show 'em. Or we could do 'Liffey-Dance'. We'll just get all the junkies from the boardwalk to dance to hardcore techno with some randomer singing "shweeeer boyez" in the backround.

PMan is banned from AH for saying something a little silly in the AHHatesGypsies thread so I guess he will be letting this thread die. :pac:

Saw that, is he actually banned though?

I saw the post before the banned label appeared on his name.

Pity, he was going to explain in great detail how we were all pwned by thinking he had been pwned, and thusly fallen into his pwn trap.

I'm sure he'll gather all his mates around to read this thread and laugh at us, how embarrassing, of course, after explaining why they should be laughing.

Meh eurovision, flogging a sterile donkey creature if you ask me.

Agreed, but if you take it with a handful of salt and not seriously it can be enjoyable enough. I wouldn't sit down and watch all 12 hours or whatever though.
