    Typical Inter fan!

Remember, you're just a **** team from Milano, order will be resumed next year when Milan and Juve are 1&2 and Inter can scrap with Roma and Fiorentina and Palermo for 3rd and 4th place.

What can I say the better team over the whole of the season got the 4th spot in the Champions League and it wasnt AC.

and ps there is only one team in Milan. Inter!

Yeah but he finally gets to play for a team with history, tradition and most importantly, an actual chance of winning the champions league in the next 10 years :P

    Bitter much?

I think it's time for Carleitto to step down...

Frank or Jose would be good replacements.

No, there's 3 professional teams in Milan,

A.C. and then two small local teams, one of them managed to win the league this year, insanity.

Milan general manager Galliani said this yesterday when asked if Milan were interested in signing Amauri.

"If Borriello arrives, then we will not bring in another player of the same characteristics. If Amauri, after we have resolved the Borriello situation, is still available then that’s great.

“Otherwise there are many other alternatives, including some nobody would suspect who are offering themselves to Milan even if we only qualify for the UEFA Cup. You’ll see that someone will come, but first we must figure out what to do with the Capocannoniere (Borriello) who scored more goals than Amauri.”

Who do you think it could be?
    I'm flumoxed.

Judging by the language in the inverview I don't think it's a striker.

He seems to be saying either Borielli will come back from Genoa or Amauri will arrive from Palermo and the the 3rd player will arrive either way.

I think they could do with an Obafembi like character to give them some pace up front but they should use next year to blood Paloschi

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 18,300 ✭✭✭✭Seaneh

Paloschi, Pato and Boriello are pacey enough, with Inzaghi and A.N. Other experienced striker we'd be sorted.

I dont actually like Martins, like, he's ok for nukie, but he doesnt really have the intellegence for a top club, thats why inter let him go.

Inter let him go because they could get €16m for a 4/5 choice striker. Not bad money

plus the fact that he is 35 makes it a sweeter deal

    ROFL!

Nah that's been proven as a urban legend.

He has grown like 3 or 4 inches since his dubet against Milan in the CL semi's 5 years ago, he has got broader and stronger too.

He's whatever age his passport says.

Julio Cruz was two years older than he claimed, inter signed him thinking he was 28 and he was actually 30.

Are you sure with was Cruz? I thought it was another player. Brazilan. Cant remember his name now. He had a heart scare awhile ago and then signed for Bolton and the same thing happened.

It was Fadiga that had the heart scare, but that was just a mermor that was never noticed.

There was another Brazilian player who played for cheivo you're thinking of, but that was even more extreme, he used his neighbours birth cert to get into the Sao Paolo youth system even though he was 22 and then ended up in italy where they thought he was 24ish and he was actually 30 or 31....

English club Bolton Wanderers signed Fadiga for the 2004-05 season, after he passed a medical. However before he made an appearance for Bolton, he collapsed prior to a match in October, and had to be fitted with a defibrillator due to an irregular heartbeat. Despite stating his desire to return to the game, medical specialists urged him to retire, warning that if during a game his chest was knocked the defibrillator could fail, leading to instant death.

    Think I would have retired!

I think Inter signed that player from cheivo. It was after there first season back in the top flight or in and around then. For the life of me I cant think who it was

I remember him ripping teams apart in the 2002 world cup, he was amazing, playing on the inside left channel behind a lone striker, some pace at full tilt and wasn't afraid to go past defenders and put the ball in the box.

Is it the player who in Chievo's first season played the wing opposite Manfredini and then later on it turned out he robbed some farmers passport and was a couple of years younger?

    Edit: Remembered it: Eriberto/Luciano
