For the last few months i have notice that either my first or last dart seem to drift into the five a lot and it's a big problem when in a tough match. i thought at first that i must've be doing something with my arm but everyone that i asked said that my throw has never changed and that my arm stays stright every time. its really starting to annoy me because it only happens when i go for the twentys that it starts to drift and in my last few games it put me well behind and i had really push to get the win. does anybody know a cure for this.

Don't try to overthink this. The more you start to think about it the worse it can become. We call this 'dart-itis' where I come from.

Take you time and have a long look at the board and then let it happen.

Yeah I suffer from this as well. I tend to drift into the 5 a lot and I hav eto really focus on my throw for it not to happen. I have tried so many different ways of throwing the dart but it doesn't seem to be working. Very annoying.

Try throwing the dart a little 'harder' .... think of it as a 3 foot putt in golf.

Firm and hit the back of the hole.
