hey guys, probably would have no choice but getting a ps3 around 12th June:)

So basically i hope this thread goes as a 'buying guide' for us who getting a ps3 soon.feel free to shoot out your precious advice!*yes,i am too lazy to go into a shop to ask or search some old threads here, some of them maybe outdated already:(*

ps3:it seems there are only 40GB version on sale out there right?60gb is no longer producing and shall we wait for the 80gb?any differences between them?

HDTV:what is the price range for a 36'/40' HDTV?defo getting a 1080p output now i guess?but depends on the price i think any good performance hdtv ,say 32' 720p looks good enough ya?any model guide from sony/samsung/toshiba etc brand has a balance in price and performance?good value choices?

thank you in advance for your help:)

I only have experience with Toshiba Regza range
seem fairly good and does everything that I ask of it.

I have a 42" 3030d (1080p) that cost me less than a grand last Sept
seeing as this range has been discontinued for the newer Z series (apposed to D) I would be struggling to think that you could not get a great telly for about €700

This is the model I have and I'm very happy with it. OK it doesn't have a 1080p panel but I don't have such a big room as to take advantage of that. Oh and standard definition pictures look amazing on it. No pixelation from an ntl box.
