I like the cyclops touch, but he just doesn't look like he's exasperated. It looks like hes looking up someone's skirt or something.

Neither tbh. They are irritating to look at.

Some people use them to fill the void of not having a point or decent argument.

The other one was bad, the cyclops is far worse. Emoticons in general are handy if you want to convey tone of your post, but often look excessive for what you are trying to say - and just look ghey tbh.
