D ban hdd cleaner

    i've downlaoded d ban form net and read faqs etc

    i still dont have a clue how to wipe hard drive. if anyone can tell me in simple english please let me know. it an old computer win 98 version 1

    Burn the iso. Boot from cd. Wipe.

    i have burned the following files dban.exe dban.iso and dban.asc . my computer will only start in dos now dont know how to run cd from dos

    You need to burn the iso.

    Look for the burn iso option in the menu. Not the same as burning a data disc. This is where you're going wrong.

    how can i get my computer back to windows mode can get out of dos,sorry lads i dont have a clue

    any time i click on any of the dban items it wont open them it looks for a programme to open them with?

    start up then goes into dos

    cd is not in it.

    i was messing around pressig esc in boot up and was trying to figure out things dont know what i did but want to get it out of dos

    dban is the programme
    dos is msdos eg C:\
