background image in Dreamweaver without Tiling

I want to put in a background image in Dreamweaver for a website but currently the background image is "tiled" but I would rather have just the single image in place rather than having it tiled across the screen or table.

How do I change this setting?

You need to 1st explain how (code wise) you are inserting the background....
If your using CSS try this:

body{
    background: url(images/bg.gif) no-repeat;
}

im designing the site totally in html - so is it the same thing?? only know a little about the CSS, so can i change the page from HTML to CSS ??

Yeah don't worry about it, all you have to do is remove what ever background you added originally, go into the code view, find your <head> section and use the CSS nikimere gave you.
You'd do something like this...

<head>

<style type="text/css">
body { background: url(images/bg.gif) no-repeat; }
</style>

</head>
