I have loads of karaoke song in zip format. (just done them from CDG+MP3s!) But now I can't find a program to make a list so I can give it out to people  I don't do much karaoke now, and usually just ask the singer for the song they want and search for it. (I can search fast with VDJ!) but I would like a list so if anyone asks they can flick through.

Anyone know where I can get a program to list my zip files and save it as a txt/csv/xml file? TIA

    Open command prompt

    CD to directory

    "dir"

Copy/paste the contents in to Excel - I think it'll tab-seperate them out.

otherwise: http://www.jddesign.co.uk/products/expprint/expprint.htm worked for me when I was asked to give a "list of what songs ye have" for a wedding set once... they gave up after the first 10 pages or so!

Thanks MYOB, thing is I'll have to do it for each folder I have them in. I got them in alphabetical and folders like SF056, SF057, SF058 etc. Oh well here goes another few days offline!

I found a prog that does all different files and even will make a MP3 playlist. Have a look at it here http://skyscraper.fortunecity.com/coding/934/ But I have just found a load of CDG+MP3 files I hadn't zipped! Done them now so will give it a go. Think the easiest way is to save it as a HTML file and edit it in frontpage. :D
