Dog box for car ball hitch

Hi folks

I'm looking for a small dog box that would attach to the ball hitch on a car. The only one I have seen online is this, but it is probably a little bit big ( and quite expensive)

Cheers for that. Its actually specifically a box that just goes onto the ball hitch I am looking for (like the pic attached), rather than a trailer

Oh sorry baz erm that type i havent seen but it just got to me head,what about the cycle ball hitch unit(second hand) and make the box for it?

Not a great friend of those, for several reasons:

- in case of an accident, your dog is mush
- as the box is low down and right behind the exhaust, your dog is slowly gassed, especially in slow traffic
- as the box is far behind the the fulcrum of the axle, your dog gets bounced about on bad roads rather severely
-as the box is an appendix on the car and far removed from you, you will not be aware if your dog is uncomfortable or worse, in serious distress back there

id agree with that possibly the best would be a estate car fitted with the bars inside,so you think even the dog trailer is not safe either?

Cheers guys - some good points made there. Its actually my father that was asking to do a bit of research on them. Given the dog is almost more precious than a child to him, most of the points made would probably put him off the idea
