Get A Vodafone Bill Phone Put In A Meteor Sim?

ok so my mam wants a phone that is in the vodafone bill range and my gran wants a phone in the meteor range. thing is that mam is with meteor bill and gran is with vodafone bill. if my mam upgrades to the meteor phone will my gran be able to use it with vodafone sim and vica versa? You would have to get both phones unlocked, either by asking both meteor and vodafone for the unlock codes for each phone, although a lot of the time they are not too willing to give out such codes. Or you could get it unlocked in a shop in town or something.

If you buy a Vf phone as a contract customer you can get it unlocked straightaway. For Meteor I'm presuming it's a prepay so you will need to top up by a certain amount to get the NAC (unlock code).
