    Hi all,

I'm looking for opinions on a Renault Clio 1.2 2002 with 42k miles up on it - the missus is thinking of buying.

What are they like in the reliability stakes? Also when is timing belt due to be done on these?

    Price is just over 4k

    Thanks,
    Keith.

With 42k miles on it the timing belt should have just been done for the first time.

    1.2 2002 for just over 4k?
    well worth it.

great car, in terms of reliability and comfort.

    Thanks for that!

It's a trade price - so need to check whether the timing belt has been done, and what condition tyres are in, also NCT - and probably needs a service - being trade.

Timing belt job - any idea on price for that?

Not sure about just the timing belt..
my 99 Clio (mk2) had the timing belt, oil change, air filter and spark plugs etc all done for just under 200 euro in a Renault garage in kilkenny.
So I can't imagine it being too expensive ?
