The important thing is noone cares.........goal keepers are all mad. I spent a season playing more or less by default because i filled in one day and was better than the regular guy.......maybe i could give arsene a call.

David James thought Friedel had come to steal Lara Croft.

I agree also with this, I thought he had a good game y'day. Although did himself no favours by getting booked.

He got highly erratic towards the end and deserved to be dropped in favour of Almunia, but in general I agree. The moments that particularly stick out for me were the penalty save from Riquelme and the save from Solskjaer at OT last season. Simply outstanding.

Also, you don't keep goal for the entirety of a 38-game unbeaten league season without doing at least a little something right...:D

What does he mean by Alumnia only starting to play aged 30?

    For Arsenal?

So presumably he thinks anyone above 30 shouldnt be taken on? The man is nuts. He should be thankful he has had the run that he has had.

Didnt he also go an entire Champions league campaign without conceding a goal (or maybe it was one or something)? Got sent off in the final, but they didnt concede with him on the pitch. :p

Yup, Lehmann was phenomenal against United, the 3 saves from Rooney were massive for keeping Arsenal in the game, I didn't feel comfortable until the final whistle was blown. Shame about his attitude though. So many yellow cards... And of course his ill-treatment of Almunia is just ridiculous.

    Nutty alright.

Great fun sitting behind him in Croke Park during the quiet spells:

Lehman is a muppet. Plain and simple. He's never happy. With anything. Always caused trouble on the pitch. Always getting up someone's nose. 'Hating' his team mate simply because he's keeping him out of the starting 11 speaks volumes about him. Completely petulant and arrogant.
Almunia is right to ignore him. He's tried sorting things out with him but Lehman is too much of a child to speak about things.

As a United fan though saw this today though and thought it was hilarious -

Lehmann is a bit of an a$$hole. He has no respect for his teammates and whinges like a baby when he gets dropped. He also showed no respect at all for Oliver Kahn despite him being one of Germany's best ever keepers. He's a good keeper but arrogant as hell and can't accept that Almunia is in the team on merit, so he tries to undermine him instead.
