    Friday 11 April
Essendon v Western Bulldogs @ Telstra Dome 7.40PM (10.40AM GMT)

    Saturday 12 April
    St Kilda v Geelong @ Telstra Dome 2.10PM (5.10AM GMT) Setanta Sports 2 5.00AM and 3.30PM
North Melbourne v Melbourne @ Gold Coast 2.10PM (7.10AM GMT)
    Sydney v West Coast @ ANZ Stadium 7.10PM (10.10AM GMT) Setanta Sports 2 10.00AM
Port Adelaide v Brisbane @ AAMI Stadium 7.10PM (10.40AM GMT)

    Sunday 13 April
    Hawthorn v Adelaide @ Aurora Stadium 1.10PM (4.10AM GMT)
    Carlton v Collingwood @ MCG 2.10PM (5.10AM GMT) Setanta Sports 2 5.00AM
    Fremantle v Richmond @ Subiaco 2.10PM (7.10AM GMT)

*check those times too, the local times are right, so hope I got the GMT times right after the last of the daylight saving changes on the east coast.

Audio on afl.com.au through the live gamecentre links on the right hand side of the homepage.

Weekend highlights on Setanta Sports 2, Monday 7th at 6PM and TG4 at 11.05pm on Wednesday night

Another thing, last night I happened to see Europsort 2 UK had the Crows/Power game on around 9-10PM. They might be showing other highlights as well during the week or something. Will have a look when I get a chance.

    My picks for the weekend
    Essendon v Bulldogs: Doggies
St Kilda v Geelong : Cats
North Melbourne v Melbourne : Roos
Sydney v West Coast : Swans
Port Adelaide v Brisbane : Power
    Hawthorn v Adelaide: Hawks
    Carlton v Collingwood : Pies
    Fremantle v Richmond : Dockers

Should be a good Friday night game I'd say. Geelong should have too mcuh for the saints. Roos looked good against the Hawks, so should easily dispatch the demons. Eagles have looked bad in last 2 games, and Sydney have been good. Form goes with Sydney. Power have a chance to get off the board at home, but Lions wont be easy, Hawks are going well, as are Pies against a poor Carlton and Freo should have enough to take Richo and Richmond.

Port Adelaide v Brisbane : Lions

Just one different pick for me. I think the Lions will do Port.

Have a cracking Saturday lined up. Coverage of St. Kilda/Geelong starts at 12pm, then Before The Game featuring Aker is on around 4, followed by Swans/Eagles just after 5. Can't wait!

Saints ahead against the Cats at quarter time and looking the better side so far.

Cats up by 16 at half time. They always seem to have another gear.

    Yeah they're just too good.

Roll on this evening. Come on Eagles! (We're gonna lose though)

Cats up by 40 at 3/4 time now and North are beating the D's by 53.

Should finish the same way. 3/3 tips so far and I got the margin bang on too in my work one. Fingers crossed for an 8, although I reckon Port will probably let me down.

I hope Port do let you down cause I've backed the Lions!

Looking forward to 'Before the Game' with Aker on it. Should be a good laugh.

Barry Hall has just layed out Brent Staker with a cheap shot left hook. Completely knocked Staker out. Absolute fucking scumbag. Nothing more than a common thug. Commentators saying he's going to be gone for bare minimum 5 weeks and good enough for him. Prick.

Wooww!! I saw that one. Awful stuff.

Just arrived in Oz and getting into the AFL. Trying to watch a few games a pick a team to support, but won't be supporting the Swans based on that!

Support the Eagles. Only way to go!

Thata boy Beau Waters! First man in defending his teammate. He's a tough bastard as well. Fair play.

Hawthorn are your only man mate!!

I reckon we'll give the Cats a run this year.

Edit - Damn you Xavi you're too quick.

Don't be wasting your time with the Eagles. They're yesterdays news.

Well I reckon it's gotta be a Melbourne team, so you'd never know!
Hope the Eagles win this one tho!

Don't listen to him. The Hawks are as Melbourne as the South Melbourne Swans and the Fitzroy Lions.

Don't listen to him. That Hawks are as Melbourne as the South Melbourne Swans and the Fitzroy Lions.

Pffft get your head out of the 80s. You're a bunch of inbreds out on an island :D

I was actually over there the other week for the first time. Very odd place.

Seriously though, until they actually change their name and play more than 5 games a year over there they'll still be a Melbourne team.

One Cold Hand - Feel free to support the Eagles. It sounds like fun watching your team lose this year.

Hawks fans wouldn't know of course.;)

Now now no need to be bitchy cause you can't remember your last Premiership.

(1991 btw, the Eagles have 3 since then :p)

What's it like out there? Is it like Rand McNally? Do hamburgers eat people?

Yeah pretty much. I even managed to take in a booting while I was there.

Pah, 3 Premierships since 1991! Stop living in the past Xabi. That's about as relevant as me pointing out that Hawthorn have 9 in total.

And about as relevant as me pointing out that the Eagles only exist for 21 years. That's a Prem every 7 years. What's the Hawks average?! :D

Exactly!! It's completely irrelevant coz it's in the past.

Let's move into the here and now. Right at this second, the Eagles are being spanked 72-21 by Sydney. That's a much more telling statistic.

    72-28 actually. Comeback's on! :D

To lose players of the calibre of Judd and Cousins is going to affect any team. Plus 5 of the team tonight have 11 senior games between them. This is a transitional year for us.

this game is getting embarassing now. McKinley is doing well tho in fairness to him. Really bad for the eagles in the middle of the field tho, Adam Goodes is getting the run on players from rucks. Dirty punch from Hall, and the lads on Ten reckon they'd be suprised if he gets less than a 6 week suspension. Armstrong loading up now to make it 79 - 34. and he misses. 79 - 29 now. 50 behind at end of third

Have to say, Kennelly's been super. Everything he does is effortless.

  • Registered Users Posts: 559 ✭✭✭Skittlebrau

Port well up on Brisbane too. 65-30 at half time.

Bet the bloody Hawks let me down tomorrow after all this:rolleyes:
