User Acceptance Testing

Hi, I am drawing up best practices for UAT and as this is not my area of expertise, I am looking for advice on how to find documentation, literature, website etc on UAT and the best practices of the same. Has anyone any ideas about where I should start?

I looked up Google and I did see lots of info. It was a great starting place.

I guess what I am looking for now is a direction on the best practices of UAT or a guidance on books/websites etc that will supply the methods and processes of UAT so that I can take bits and pieces from these and develop a best practice.
