Champions League Semi Finals

    Does anyone know the schedule for the semis? If Utd go through, do they play on the Tues or Wed in the home leg?

    90% SURE if we get through the second leg of the semi is Weds 30th as it was second semi draw..

    Slightly OT but what is UEFA's reason for playing the games the way they do? ie Utd & Barce first legs on Tues and Liverpool, Arse and Chelsea on the Wednesday, then Utd and Barce on Wednesday etc? Surely it would make more sense for all the teams to have the same time between matches.

    Teams that play Tuesday the first week should play Tues the following week.

    One reason is to keep the TV companies happy.
    In most countries a TV company can only take say a Tuesday or Wednesday game, and thats set at the start of the season.
    For example, in Germany this week, the national station showed the Chelsea game (Wednesday)
    Next week they can show Shalke.
