I'm building an rear extension, single story with an A roof & getting 4 velux's.
Is it worth while upgrading to the Velux's with the lower U value? I have heard the 'normal' velux windows can make a room quite cold in the winter.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

what is the energy saving on the lower U value units. would it take much time to balance the extra cost with the savings on fuel.??
