Is there any way to get the DVD Library (registry hack) to display compressed video formats like divx etc?

Doubt it. thegreenbutton would be your best bet. Or www.xpmediacentre.com.au is good too.

i know it will accept recorded tv (ones which aren't movies) by editing the metadata which i've done and it works but so far have not been able to get it see divx stuff!
