Motorola Data Transfer Software

My phone didn't come with a data cable, you have to buy it seperately But my mp3 player USB is the exact same size, yet it won't work without data transfer software. I've checked the manual and it says you get this when you buy a data cable. Anyone know of anywhere online I can download this software?

Alternatively if any of your mates have one of the higher end Motorola phones the software may have come with them.
